Top tips for preparing for the exam:
- Know your limits. Have your English ability assessed by International House Bangkok so that you can set achievable goals. Work with your teacher to find out what you should be aiming for.
- Preparation and organization are vital. Set aside as much time as you can for your study. Work towards goals and do not leave all your preparation until the last minute.
- Improve you reading skills – learn how to read faster and more efficiently. This is especially important given the heavy weighting of the reading test.
- Reading does not have to be for studying only. Try to read more newspapers, magazines and books in your free time. Make it enjoyable and choose a topic you like.
