Your experience matters
Excellent introduction to teaching kids. It’s very practical and you take away a wealth of activities and games that you can use immediately. Highly recommended.
I think it’s the perfect extension to the CELTA. On the CELTA you practice with adults and the approach needs some adjustments if you need to teach children. The Intro to YL does precisely that.
I really liked the way trainers showed us how to turn traditional activities into fun and engaging games for children. I’m definitely going to try what I learnt with my classes.
Lots of ideas and ways to engage children with fun and interactive activities. I just wish the course had some classroom practice with actual learners.
