Specialise in YLs

The IH Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers (IH TYLT) is a professional development course for newly qualified and experienced English language teachers who are working or preparing to work with children and adolescents.

The course is designed to help teachers gain a better understanding of the pedagogy behind teaching this age group and acquire practical skills and ideas for effective teaching.

The IH TYLT is developed by the International House World Organisation and moderated by Cambridge Assessment English, part of the University of Cambridge. Certificates include the Cambridge logo, adding value and international recognition to the qualification.
