Our story in teacher development started in 1962 when International House launched their first teacher training course in London, UK. A course that later became known as the Cambridge CELTA. Essential course if you have never learnt grammar at school. I honestly didn’t know the difference between an adjective and adverb, or what the present perfect continuous was! I’m glad I didn’t jump into the CELTA without some basic knowledge of grammar.
