Your experience matters
It was a great academic experience, and the trainers made each session thoroughly enjoyable. The approach was perfect for me as I received plenty of personalized support and guidance on how to adapt to my learners’ needs. I highly recommend the course if you feel your teaching is becoming a bit stale (!) and need a boost of fresh ideas.
I really enjoyed the course, and the format allowed me to continue with my work without disruptions. Actually, I was able to ‘apply’ the theory immediately the next day and this practical aspect really helped me reflect on my strengths and areas for improvement. I really got a lot out of the course, and I can say I feel a much better teacher now.
The accommodation, the school, the trainers, my classmates and everything exceeded my expectations. The course was a nice balance of theory and practice as we constantly had to relate the input to our own classes. We got a lot of tips on how to develop our reflective skills and how to apply them when teaching. Be ready to do a lot of reading and research!
The course was recommended to me by IH as I was thinking about doing DELTA but wasn’t too sure about the level of difficulty and commitment needed. I’m really happy I took their advice and enrolled on the Advanced Methodology course. I found it at the right level for me and a nice transition after the CELTA.
